HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT

Oman Cement Company (S.A.O.G) is committed to:

	Protect the health and safety of its staff, its contractor’s employees affected by its activities.
	Protect the environment in which it operates, minimize pollution and seek improvements in the use of natural resources.

The Company will:

	Comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards and procedures of Sultanate of Oman and apply more stringent standards and procedures where it is considered to do so;
	Provide a safe and healthy work place for its staff and where appropriate, its contractor’s employees;
	Focus on promoting health awareness through education and minimize the risk of adverse health effects due to work environment.
	Support and promote a high standard preventive and curative health care and execution of occupational and public health programs.
	Work towards accident free environment.
	Reduce waste generation and contamination of air, water and land.
	Dispose off unavoidable waste in safe and environmental friendly way.
	Promote awareness in all the employees about HSE impacts of their activities and the objectives of this policy.
	Undertake reviews to ensure compliance to this policy and continual improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.
	Provide the policy to interested parties and will review it periodically.
